Established in 1999, Equality California is the nation’s largest statewide LGBTQ civil rights organization. They are responsible for overturning Proposition 8, which barred same-sex couples from marriage in California, as well countless other first-in-the-nation victories for the LGBTQ community.
In late 2017, Equality California adopted a new logo, tagline, and mission statement to emphasize the organization’s continued role post-marriage equality: “Until the work is done.”
The new brand — developed by Prophet — was rolled out with a new website design I created. Having built Equality California’s old website as well, we started from scratch to incorporate the new branding with a heavy emphasis on connecting members to actions they could take online to further policy objectives as well as keeping supporters informed of the latest news, events, and the organization’s programmatic work.
If you'd like to know more about how I can help your campaign or organization achieve its digital and communications goals, send me a brief message, and I will get back to you as soon as possible.
